When adding a service to your profile, you can set your own price based on the type of service you offer. Consider the time required, materials needed, and the typical price for similar services in your area. Setting clear and fair pricing helps Service Seekers understand what to expect when booking your services.
- Select a service category
- Now describe the service you are adding to the category, e.g. if you are a hair stylist, your individual service variant might be Cut & Blow
- Now tell Service Seekers how long this service takes, e.g. 1 hour, 30 minutes etc.
- Then decide how much you want to charge for this service (how much is the service or time valued at).
- You will need to add additional information next, e.g. The Cut & Blow service includes hair washing, and the price is for short to medium length hair. For long or curly hair please book two hours.
- Now save your service.
- Remember: you know your service best, and the more details you give the prospective Service Seeker, the better your chances of getting booked.
- The Peezjob app uses ‘time’ as the measure of the service, but you can use the description and the additional information to describe what you offer in that time.
- If you believe your service cannot be priced so simply, you also have the option to allow for ‘Quoting’. This means a Service Seeker can request a quote based on their specific needs.
